Hutt St Centre has been supporting homeless people in Adelaide for 63 years. We require funding to set up a gardening and maintenance business in the streets around Adelaide. Our intention is to train and employ our homeless clients to develop their skills, self-confidence and provide them with revenue streams that can lead to housing.
6,000 people are currently homeless in SA. Gaining employment is the first stage out of homelessness and integration back into society. We intend to purchase a ute and gardening equipment and provide gardening and maintenance services to houses and businesses in the Adelaide CBD.
