I believe we need a community driven project to make people aware of the first people, and the European pioneers of our district. This unique and spectacular piece of art will provide twenty four hour vision to demonstrate our cultural history. Locals will be proud of this monument and it will stimulate our economy by attracting visitors. We have researched and selected suitable images to place within the glass which will create an amazing focal point in our town. A committee has been planning this project carefully, and we will be ready to begin construction when funds are available.

Great Idea, there is a base for this concept so it would be amazing to see a beautiful pioneer tower in the main street of Tumby Bay.

Recognising our heritage is important, but rather than just put up a static memorial to the past, let have something more relevant and useful for the future of Tumby Bay. Suggest you could include the following into the final design, a WIFI hub, electronic digital/analogue town clock face , electronic digital message display which could provide tourist info, event info, tide times, temperature etc. Let’s have some more useful as well as aesthetical pleasing.
