The Senior Citizen's building is 40yrs old and seriously needs upgrading and expanding to accommodate the Neighbourhood Centre, local clubs and service providers. This is an excellent example of spending government funds wisely for the benefit of the whole community. It's in a great location with plenty of parking and easily accessible for wheelchairs, gophers and prams. When completed this will be a welcoming, family-friendly venue with the capacity to substantially increase the use of the building and open it up to the wider community for meetings, functions, events and activities. The opportunities are endless but it needs your vote.

A community with great needs (from all ages) and this with create a centralised point of contact and connection. Bring sense of belonging to all who live within and surrounding the community!

We need an upgrade to unite our community and get everyone together

An essential upgrade to bring this very solid building into the 21st Century. Making more use of already existing facilities in the district is essential in this day and age. One set of maintenance costs for six organisations or more makes very economic sense to many. Please vote, vote, vote for it.

I really believe this project will make a huge difference to the community and enable a much broader range of services to be delivered to groups such as young parents with babies and toddlers, our young people, the older residents and all in between. This is an exciting project with so much potential.
