We propose the creation of a hiking trail connecting Port Pirie, via the Napperby Scout camp, to the Bluff Tower lookout. This will provide a link to the Heysen Trail, Wirrabara Forest trail network and connect Pirie to the new lookout currently under development by Mount Remarkable Council. The trail features significant natural aspects including spectacular ridge-line scenery and gulf views. This will enhance the appeal of the region and increase public appreciation of Port Pirie. The project will allow Port Pirie to capture the growing nature-based tourism market and position itself as the gateway to the Southern Flinders Ranges.
