The Irish Club provides significant support to the mainly Irish community in Adelaide. The Club has been an Adelaide entity since the late 1950's. It has plans in place to update and modernise the Entrance Foyer, which will be self funded. But, it is an older building and does not have proper access for people in wheelchairs or who have mobility issues. The upper level is only accessible by a stairway. There are two possible projects to add on to the refurbishment. 1 Wheelchair ramp from the street level entrance. 2. A lift to be installed for the upper level.
