We'd like to have the cricket nets renovated and extended, as they're quite small at present and it would benefit the cricket club and also the local community. Secondly, we'd also like to have permanent matting on the cricket net pitches as it would make for a much safer environment.

The nets are too short and dangerous. Lack of covering/matting means the use of the nets is limited for the larger community.

Greenacres, Lightsview and surrounding suburbs are developing at an extremely fast rate. Families flock to this reserve on a nightly basis. While the tennis courts are a "locked up" facility the cricket nets and oval are not. The cricket club uses these nets weekly however the locals (of all ages) use them daily. Permanant matting, safer netting, improved grounds, lighting and electricity would allow the neighborhood to use all year round.

Nearly every thing me I drive past I see people in these nets. Run ups are very uneven and desperately needs to be given an upgrade. Used the nets a few times as they are in a great spot but are very rundown.

The nets are well over due for a major overhaul. The fencing is to short and are dangerous when all being used as balls being hit come out of the nets and can hit other users. With the community growing in the area, it would be fantastic for people to have somewhere safe to get out and have fun and hopefully grow the local cricket club and area.
