This space is adjacent to GBC - a hidden gem sports and community club in Glenelg North. It is accessible by public transport, bike and walking paths. Over 50 car parks and a new social enterprise cafe/beergarden open on weekends throughout summer is staffed by capable people with disabilities. Plenty of open space to play ball, bring your dog or stop during a walk from Glenelg or Adelaide Shores for a refreshment while kids play in this safe fully accessible playspace complete with rubber soft fall (wheelchair friendly), fencing and re-inforced, shading to fully protect from sun and stray balls.

Fantastic idea - a great community club that would see the broader community benefit from this proposal.

Fantastic idea as no playgrounds enclosed within that area and lots of car parking

Love this idea! The skate park is near by but there is no playground for the younger kids

My kids play baseball here and with a 3yo that has to watch, a playground would help make his stay a lot more enjoyable and relaxing for the rest of the world

With many kids in this area especially within the baseball club, what a great inclusion to the area
