Currently the only gathering area at Tulka is a playground, storage shed and lawn area located on Sheoak Road. We are seeking a space to encourage our diverse and dispersed residents to meet and connect. A sheltered community hub will provide an engaging, friendly, local, welcoming space that promotes contact between residents and facilitates communication and capacity building. Benefits include: • develop community, cohesion, connection and involvement • provide an all year round space for social and wellbeing activities • provide community support in times of need e.g. bush fire threats • central spot to engage and inform community

This is a great idea. The community of Tulka is sorely in need of a place to meet for educational, social and information sessions. It could also be used as a base for walking groups, mother's groups, bird watching groups and so on.........
