City of Holdfast Bay are designing a new nature play space for Angus Neill Reserve. I think this would be a great asset for the local community. It is a well used reserve by locals but the existing playground is very basic and offers limited play opportunities for children of different ages. As a Rotarian, this reserve has significant importance because it is named after a previous President of the Glenelg Rotary Club, ANGUS NEILL who died whilst representing Rotary at an International Conference in 1963 I hope the additional funds will allow the vision to be realised.

In some cases the scope of a suggested project may need to be varied (or has already been varied) on the recommendation of the agency which owns the land or is sponsoring the project (e.g. to add or remove elements of the project and change the budget for the project where required). As such, the description above may not reflect the full and final scope of the project which will be delivered should it be successful in the community voting stage.

I don’t think it needs too much more structure. Leave it open for ball games!
Definitely needs dog bag dispensers please.

Yes but: Only as long as the development does not increase the footprint or the height or the visual density of the existing organised play space; the existing visual openness and the relatively unobstructed green lawns of this park afford multiple activities for many, many sections of the near and distant Adelaide population. I believe these amenities should not be reduced. The unstructured parts of this park elicit spontaneous and creative play by children and adults. I believe to facilitate such expressions the park should not become any more uncluttered by apparatus or structures.
