This is the perfect location for a nature play area! I love it, and would definitely visit often (more often)

This would be a fantastic addition for families to the already beautiful wittunga botanic gardens . Very beneficial for children learning about nature.

Definitely would visit more with kids if it had nature play space. It would be great for area and agree later time opening until 5-6pm would be good like Belair Nat park.

I have a question about this. Wittunga Botanic Gardens is only open until 4pm, will there be access to & from this playground after 4pm?

Hi Cass. Thank you for supporting this project. The playspace will be a community facility and details of open times and access will be decided between the Council and Wittunga. Regards Phil

I agree, we live nearby, but don't visit as often as I'd like because there is not a lot to engage my kids. They're not allowed to play with balls and no feeding the ducks, so sometimes go for a picnic. We'd love an interactive nature play space. Being so close to Blackwood primary school, I'm sure you'd have lots of families (and probably school classes) visiting and enjoying the gardens more often.

Fabulous location for this innovative project. Not only does the area provide parking and amenities, it also will increase patronage and make this under utilised park more interesting. Our hills area is in need of more safe play space for a growing population. My tribe of little ones would really benefit from this as I am getting frustrated with the hefty fee to drive into our local park.

I do take my grandchildren here occasionally but its very formal, not kid-friendly.

A nature play area would engage and delight them, making memories for life.
